Father was born on May 10th, 1940 in Elanthoor, Kerala, India. He was the eldest of four boys. Due to his father's hectic schedule as a lawyer, father was raised mostly by his grandparents. At an early age he developed a strong work ethic and strict discipline, enabling him to earn top grades at school. He went on to attend the Thrivendrum Medical College, the oldest and most prestigious medical school in Kerala. While at the college, he was also a high ranking officer in the National Cadet Corps of Kerala, under the Indian Ministry of Defense. He once had to camp near the Kashmir border in the bitter cold snow, which was an experience he could never forget. After graduation, he moved to Malaysia and married my mother.
